Joel B. Slocum, the Director of Education International, has over thirty years of experience in the evaluation of educational credentials from other countries. For many years, he was Director of Foreign Student Services at Columbia University. He has written a book on education in Iran and directed a workshop and edited its report on education in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Peru; and he has served as a consultant for NAFSA: Association of International Educators and the State Department. Education International is recognized by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, and its evaluations are widely accepted in academic, business and other circles. It is a charter member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES®).
